OxySense recently engaged Plastic Technologies, Inc. (PTI), an independent packaging development and testing company headquartered in Holland, Ohio, to compare the performance and accuracy of the OxySense® OxyOTR™ system to that of the MOCON® OxTran®.
STM International Sub Committee F02.40 on Package Integrity has approved a new ASTM International standard (F 2418-08) that covers a procedure for determination of the oxygen concentration in the headspace within a sealed package without opening or compromising the integrity of the package.
Oxysense® announces the OxyOTR™ system, an oxygen permeation measurement system to be used for oxygen transmission rate (OTR) testing of both films and finished packages with the OxySense® 4000B in packaging laboratories. Compared to the average cost of other (number) chamber OTR systems, OxyOTR is offered at approximately half the cost.
Testing thousands of packages can be a daunting task for any lab. This process is only further complicated when the facility manager is under a time crunch. With this in mind, OxySense, the industry leader in non-invasive oxygen measurement, has added the Kinesis Remote Capture Switch (RCS) to their accessory line for the OxySense 4000B system.
OxySense®, Inc., has responded to growing international interest in its non-invasive, real-time oxygen measurement systems with an expanded network of leading distributors who can offer easy access to the full line of OxySense systems and accessories.
